EVS24 - Towards Zero Emission

Nations - Cities - Vehicles - Health - Youth

Volatile oil prices and the impact on the environment are forcing society to find energy efficient and clean solutions. Mode shift, better public transportation and better master planning combined with electrically driven vehicles constitute a crucial part of the solution to these challenges. EVS 24 offers SOLUTIONS : State of the Art, New Products, New Technology, New Ideas, New Attitudes and Market Forecasts .

Almost 200 internationally recognized top experts will present their views and debate at EVS24, the largest and longest running series of conferences and exhibitions within the field of sustainable electric transportation (Battery, Hybrid, Fuel cell) which celebrates its 40th year (1969 – 2009) in Stavanger, Norway, 13 – 16 May 2009.

The Viking Rally -
organized in collaboration with HyNor and Norstart will start in Oslo (680 km) and Egersund (70 km) and arrive in Stavanger in the afternoon of 13 May 2009.

The Conference program -
is designed as a crossover where EVS24, in addition to being the main venue in 2009 for technical delegates interested in the fields of electric vehicles, hybrids or components like batteries, electric motors, fuel cells, controls etc, will focus on the big picture as well: Where we live and where we work creates transportation needs, sustainable master planning can greatly reduce the need for transportation, reduce CO2 emissions and increase energy efficiency as well as increasing the share of renewable energy in the transportation sector to improve our health.
